UNDER 13 GIRLS GRADEJUSTINE COOK-WATENE
The Noosa Pirates are delighted to welcome Justine Cook-Watene on board as the coach of the first all-female McGinns of Kenilworth Under 13s team in club history.
Justine and her family have been an important part of the Pirates club for several seasons, always rolling up the sleeves and getting stuck in with a high workrate and minimal fuss.
Justine is a sister to the late Cook Islands World Cup representative Adam Cook-Watene, who also captained the Burleigh Bears. She is also related to former Tonga and New Zealand Maori representative Frank Watene.

UNDER 14 GRADEKRIS "BUDDA" WILLIAMS
Pirate Park are stoked to confirm Kris “Budda” Williams as our Bax Engineering U14 Boys Coach for 2023.
“Kris returned to Noosa from Townsville and is our Highly skilled forward on our Division 1 Squad, he’s certainly a weapon for us and will be an amazing coach and mentor for our U14 squad. Kris has a rich history with the pirates as a junior player to then continue onto being a member of 2 x Premiership winning squads. Kris brings a wealth of experience in 2023. Welcome back to Cam Wessling. Cam played all his junior career at the Noosa Pirates and after that coached juniors for over 10 years. He’s also being involved with the junior SC Falcons for many years. Cam has a high coaching pedigree in our region, mentoring plenty of our young local stars to pursue higher honours in the QCup and NRL. Players like big Tino Fa’asuamaleaui & Blake Wilson to name a few. We are super stoked to have him back aboard the Pirate ship.
