Register to play for the Noosa Pirates
How does the registration process work?
Create an NRL account
The first step is to create an NRL account if you don’t have one, as you will need this when registering. For minors, the parents must create a parent account and a player account for a child.

Register for Noosa Pirates and select your age group/team
To register, head to playrugbyleague.com. Follow the prompts to register yourself or a child. Note that you will need your NRL account at this stage, so make sure you set that up first.

Make your payment
The next step is to make your payment. Children must be registered and fees paid (or payment plan) to be covered by insurance.
Get team details and playing kit
Once completed, you’ll receive details of the team, coach, training sessions, and game dates for yourself or a child. Junior players will also receive playing shorts, a training shirt, a club polo shirt, socks, team photos, and a Pirates-branded backpack. All you need to supply is footy boots, a mouth guard, and headgear (optional but advised).

Play On! Sports Vouchers
The Play On! Sports Vouchers program helps Queensland families get children aged 5–17 active in sport by reducing participation costs. Eligible families can apply for a $200 voucher per child to use towards approved club fees. If you get approved, you will get a discount code you will use when you pay for your child's registration (there is a 'club discount' section in the payment part).

Who can Play
Junior League
We welcome male and female players between 5 and 17 years old and offer them the opportunity to train in a supportive environment.
Men’s Rugby League
Men of all ages over 17 years can join our league. Whether experienced or an enthusiastic amateur, we invite you to join and contribute to the team.
Women’s Rugby League
Women over 17 are welcome to join our league. We provide support and training to help you reach your sports ambitions irrespective of your experience.

Noosa Pirates Supporter membership
Even if you don’t play, you can still be part of the Noosa Pirates community. We offer a supporter membership fee starting from $35 per year, giving you exclusive access to games, discounted merchandise, complimentary RSL memberships and much more – all valued at over $100.
